What one Swiss hire actually costs.
Enter a gross annual salary and a canton. The figure includes every employer contribution and the Anstell fee. It excludes VAT.
The result is indicative. BVG depends on the employee's age and on the pension plan; a plan above the federal minimum costs more. We confirm the exact figure before a contract is issued.

The Swiss state pension, disability insurance and loss-of-earnings insurance. 5.3% from the employer, 5.3% from the employee, on every franc of salary.
Unemployment insurance. 1.1% each side, levied on salary up to CHF 148’200 a year and nothing above it.
The occupational pension. Contributions rise with age — 7% at 25, 18% at 55 — and apply only to the coordinated salary, which is capped at CHF 64’260. Employer and employee split it equally.
Accident insurance. The employer pays occupational cover in full; the employee pays non-occupational cover.
Daily-sickness insurance. Not required by law, but standard. Anstell splits the premium equally.
The cantonal family-allowance contribution. Employer only, and the one line that changes with the canton — 1.2% in Zürich, 2.9% in Valais.
